Chalet Floralie is a luxury chalet sleeping 12 – 18 guests in St Martin de Belleville, France with direct access into the Three Valleys ski area.

We are looking for a CHALET HOST to join our team for the 2023/24 Winter Season
Must be EU passport holder or have a valid French Carte de Sejour
EXPERIENCE & PERSONAL SKILLS:
We are looking for a Chalet Host who is passionate about offering the highest level of service and doing a great job as part of a small team.
Ideally you will be at least 21 years old and you must be able to speak a good standard of English. We expect our team to be professional, polite, mature, with a strong work ethic whilst demonstrating enthusiasm, flexibility and a ‘nothing is too much trouble’ attitude. Immaculate personal presentation and hygiene is essential.
Experience in 5* dining and/or housekeeping would be very useful although full training will be given.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Alongside the Chalet Manager, Chalet Hosts are responsible for deep cleans at the beginning and end of the season, as well as daily cleaning (including your own accommodation) plus Sunday changeover day. We also offer a turndown service 6 nights a week.
You will prepare the laundry for collection and check it back in on return. The whole team is responsible for snow clearing (path cleared from chalet and boot room) on rotation.
As a Host, you will set the table, serve and clear away breakfast, afternoon tea and a 4 course evening meal plus childrens’ early supper if required, as well as serve pre dinner drinks and canapes.
We have a Chef so the only cooking required is helping to prepare simple cooked breakfasts 2 days a week on the Chef’s mornings off.
We work to the highest standards with attention to detail in all areas and you will need a good level of stamina as the role involves a lot of time on your feet! You will be working with our Chalet Manager, Chef and other Host so it is important that you are able to work well as part of a small team and are comfortable with guests who are used to, and expecting, a 5 star service.
Live-in accommodation provided (own room with shared bathroom between the team of 4).
1 full day off per week and 2 afternoon/evenings off per week with plenty of skiing time each day – Chalet Floralie is opposite the lift station so very easy and immediate access into the Three Valleys ski area. St Martin de Belleville is a lovely, typically French village.
